A really lovely large vintage Robert Mouseman Thompson lamp. Rarer than the smaller table lamps that come to the market. The base measures 41 cm, including the bulb holder 46.5 cm. Once a shade is fitted (not included) it is getting on for 70 cm, so it really is quite a large lamp, especially compared to the Mouseman table lamps which stand at around 26 cm.  
 
It has been hand carved and bears the signature mouse running up the base, which has actually been really well carved. It has also been beautifully hand adzed and is a really nice dark honey colour. It is in full working order and has a brass bulb holder which holds a bayonet bulb (included) and brass shade holder, which unscrews so that a lampshade can be fitted and screwed securely into place. It's a beautiful light that is sure to brighten any room.
