A beautiful hand carved Bob 'Wrenman' Hunter coat hook with the signature wren to the top. It has a wrought iron hook that can hold up to three coats. 'The Higher the Clouds' is stamped on one side of the hook, and 'The Better the Weather' is stamped to the other side - very sweet. It is in perfect condition with no damage. A really lovely piece.
 
Bob 'Wrenman' Hunter worked for Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson. He left Mouseman and set up his own workshop and initially adopted the tortoise as his signature, but later changed it to the little wren after seeing a pair of wrens building a nest in his workshop. His pieces are always very highly sought after.
