A vintage Peter 'Rabbitman' Heap pin tray. These little pin trays are the same size as the ashtrays, but are much rarer to the market, so are always very highly sought after when they come up. It is in very good condition and the signature rabbit has been very nicely carved in high relief and sits on top. It dates to the 1970s. A really sweet little piece. 
 
Peter Heap was one of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson's craftsmen. He set up his own workshop in 1970 and adopted the rabbit as his signature. Over the years, his hand carved pieces have become very collectable, especially since his death in 2022.
