A vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson letter rack, hand carved from oak with the old signature mouse to the top. Very rare to the market, these letter racks hardly ever come up, I've personally only ever seen one other shaped like this come to auction, although there are a few more of them around, they are rare. It is a wall mounted rack, not free standing. It measures 34 cm wide x 24 cm high and dates to the 1940s / 1950s. 
 
The rack is in very good condition with just wear commensurate with age and use. A really interesting, highly sought after, early Mouseman piece.
