A superb Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson burr oak table lighter. It was made in the 1960s and is quite rare and highly sought after. They hardly ever come to the market and if they do, they are normally broken or have missing parts. This example has been made from burr oak, making it even rarer.
 
It has a porthole carved signature mouse with his head popping through one side and his bottom through another. It has been expertly carved from a beautiful piece of burr oak. It's a wonderful colour and it is in full working order.
