A vintage hand carved Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson coffee table. It has a wonderful dark oak colour with a well carved signature mouse on one facet of the pedestal leg. It has been beautifully adzed to the top of the table, which really catches the light. The condition is very good, with just one small chip underneath the table top (see picture), as it's under the table, you can't actually see it unless you turn the table upside down. It also has a bit of wear commensurate with age and use. The height of the table is 47cm. The table top measures 49.8 cm x 49.8 cm. It's a really lovely table, a wonderful colour, with good patina. It can also be used as a side table, or a lamp table.
