A really beautiful, vintage Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson fruit bowl, hand carved from oak with the signature mouse in the centre of the well. The diameter is 29 cm, so a bit smaller than the later bowls, which are 30.5 cm. It is so well carved and tooled and it has a particularly good mouse. It is in very good condition with no damage, just ever so slight discolouration to the well from use. It has wonderful patina and is also a lovely colour. A good Mouseman piece, these vintage bowls are always highly sought after.
