A really lovely vintage Robert Mouseman Thompson nut bowl, hand carved from oak with a particularly well carved signature mouse on the edge. It is in excellent condition with no damage and looks to have been just used as a display piece. It has been hand tooled around the edges. Carved from a single piece of oak. The diameter of the bowl is just under 16cms, a bit bigger than the later bowls which measure 15cms diameter. A beautiful piece, perfect for serving nuts and other nibbles.
